Whether you choose to make the full flowing bell with softly draping fabric or the more refined bell for a more structured look, your doll is going to be hoping for several of each!

• View A is reminiscent of the “elephant” bells of the 1970s. Make these using a soft fabric with fluid drape for a modern spin on this great look.

Two Tulips Dress gets its name from the lovely tulip style sleeves. Other eye-catching details include a contrast hem band and peter pan style collar. Princess seams provide a wonderful fit and silhouette. Fully lined, using the “burrito” method of construction, this dress is as nicely finished on the inside as it is on the outside.

This design is best made with lightweight woven fabrics such as Lawn or Batiste because of the number of layers of fabric at the shoulder. Quilting cotton can be used with some minor changes in construction, which are discussed in the pattern.

VIEW A: 1 1/4 yards 1/2” wide single fold bias tape
VIEW B: 1 1/2 yards 3/8” wide ribbon or trim
VIEW C: 1 3/4 yards 1/4” wide ribbon or trim

-MAIN FABRIC - one fat quarter or 1/3 yd 45” wide

-LINING FABRIC - one fat quarter or 1/4 yd 45” wide

-6” length 3/4” wide double-sided hook and loop tape

-Thread to match

-Standard sewing tools
