A dear friend of mine has the most beautiful dance regalia. One of the things he wears often for special occasions is his ribbon shirt. I asked if he would mind if I copy it for my boy doll, so here is my version of Nick's Ribbon Shirt. Although my friend only wears the head and knee bands for dancing, I included them in the pattern instructions.

Nick's Ribbon Shirt is a fun pattern to embellish so use your imagination. There is so much you can do with ribbons or other trims. Nick's original shirt was a plain blue so no worries about having Native fabric just let the ribbons or whatever trim you use be the decorations. One tester made the shirt in a flowered linen fabric and added lace to the sleeves at the cuffs for a beautiful girl's tunic….it was so cute. So please have fun with this pattern and enjoy!

This is Karina's Cozy Sweater for 16 inch A Girl For All Time® and other similar sized dolls. It is an easy knit perfect for beginners but also for experienced knitters. Knit from the neck down, it only requires a bit of sewing for the sleeve seams. Simple and pretty open pattern borders the sleeves and body of the sweater.

If you like to have matching outfits for your dolls you will love this sweater. It is also available for 18" dolls such as American Girl® so it makes the perfect pattern for 'Sister Sweaters'.

There are two styles of the sweater included in the pattern by My AG Doll Creations. The first one is hip-length with four buttons which allows it to hang slightly open at the bottom. A very nice length for tights or pants. The second version is a little shorter with five buttons so that it closed right to the waist. Pairs nicely with a skirt as it just covers the waistband.

The instructions are easy to follow and there are pictures to illustrate so no need to guess how it should look. Each row has a set of brackets which allow you to mark off the rows as you go so you won't loose your place. For the more experienced knitters there is a written summary of the pattern.

Rock the ‘70s look with Richelle’s Maxi Coat & Scarf! Another easy pattern made in my signature style starting at the collar and knit in one piece to the hemline. Lovely Lexi is another of my signature designs, knit from the neck down so requires only a little sewing for the sleeve and back seams. The beautiful pattern in the skirt may look complicated but is really quite easy and goes up very fast. Just look at those elegant bell sleeves, and how special is that beautiful patterned edge! It's the attention to details that make it the perfect dress for any special formal occasion.

So many ways to wear this dress with the button-on collar. Make it in the same colour as the dress and add a gorgeous button. Or try making the dress in a variegated yarn and then pick one of the colours in the yarn to make the collar and belt. You might like to leave the collar off and just wear the dress with a fancy necklace. Any way you wear it your doll will stand out in a crowd.

The belt too is easy to make, just a few rows of knitting and a fringe at each end. The short puffy sleeves mirror the pattern featured in the open lace work in the full skirt of this pretty dress. Embellish the extended waistline with ribbon bows, jewels, or whatever your imaginations creates.

The dress is knit from the neck down so all you have are the sleeve and back seams to sew. It may seem like a complicated pattern but is really quite easy. Use your favourite Size 3 yarn.  For the smaller dolls such as the Corelle les Cheries you may require a smaller needle to get a nicer  fit.  You will notice that the pattern does not include buttonholes. I have found that if small enough buttons are used they fit nicely through the stitches. Or you may choose to use snaps in the placket and put the buttons on the outside. Either way is very attractive.
