Two really fun accessories that are a must for your kitty-loving doll’s wardrobe. The backpack is suitable for hiking, traveling or just to take a stroll with friends.
Both the purse and backpack are worked flat with the front and back knit separately and sewn or crocheted together. The purse has an I- cord that is sewn to the inner side of each ear.

Recommended Yarn: Any Light DK (Double knit ) / Weight 3 yarn or even a Sports weight that will give you the appropriate gauge.
Examples used: Purse: Paintbox® Simply DK Vanilla as MC. Stylecraft® Special DK very small amount of yellow for the nose and black for the whiskers and eyes.
For the backpack: Paintbox ® Simply DK Caramel as MC. Stylecraft ® Special DK very small amount of shrimp for the nose and black for the whiskers and eyes.

Yarn - Any Light DK (Double knit ) / Weight 3 yarn
Examples used:
For the purse: about 8 gram for Main Color. Small amount of yellow for the nose and black for the whiskers and eyes.
For the backpack: about 10 gram for Main Color. Very small amount of shrimp for the nose and black for the whiskers and eyes.
Other supplies:
• Straight or circular knitting needles sizes US 4 (3.50 mm)
• DPNS size US 4 (3.50 mm) if you are knitting an I - cord
• Buttons x 2
• Bra strap slides or rings x 2
• Row counter or a pencil to tick off the rows as you knit
• Tapestry + ordinary sewing needle
• Small scissors
• Ruler or tape measure
GAUGE: Stockinette Stitch
